MZBS - PAVING A PATH TO FOLLOW THROUGH THE GENERATIONS!

 

Mount Zion Bible College was one of the earliest Pentecostal Bible Colleges in India which was founded by Rev. Robert F. Cook. Our Seminary is an Auxiliary of Church of God Cleveland, Tennessee, USA and a part of Church of God (Full Gospel) In India, run by the Education Department of CGI Kerala State. This establishment remains a pride not only for Kerala State, but to the entire Church of God across the globe!

BIBLE TRAINING CENTRE

 

As Church of God in India began to flourish its ministry across the state and nation, there was an increasing demand for systematically educated and trained evangelists, pastors and missionaries strongly rooted in the Bible. In order to address the need of the hour, Rev. R F Cook initially began a Home Bible School / Bible Training Centre in 1922 at Kottarakara, providing a non-formal theological education for the ministers of Church of God. 

However, by 1927, Mount Zion Bible Seminary was officially opened in Mulakuzha. With a very humble beginning with the classes being conducted on the veranda of the then newly constructed Bungalow, Mount Zion Bible Seminary has grown to one of the major Theological Institutions in Kerala offering up to 5 Theological Degree programs.

OUR HERITAGE

 

Mount Zion Bible Seminary is the first Bible training centre established in South India in 1927, with roots tracing back till 1922 from the Bible Training Centre in Kottarakara. MZBS has the privilege of training and sending thousands of missionaries, pastors and evangelists to India, South Asia and beyond. Our Alumni serves in various capacities for the expansion of God's Kingdom all across the globe. Currently MZBS provides the state of art facilities including a library with over 60,000 volumes and Computer Lab with internet facility.
